Book Sneak Peak

After years of writing, revising, and praying, I’m thrilled to tell you that my book Start Strong: A Beginner’s Guide to Understanding Christianity is nearly ready. You can get a sneak peak on my website-in-progress.

I am about to seek beta readers—people willing to read a pre-release version of the book and tell me what they think. If you’re interested, keep an eye out for a separate email with details on how to participate.

Bonus episode: A Biblical Perspective on Money

Check your podcast feed for a special episode from a seminar my husband and I gave at the University of Virginia. The audio’s a little rough (since its was a live recording), but the content is worth it: a biblical view of money. This talk combines biblical theology with practical advice. Hope it encourages and equips you! I’m excited to share it because I rarely get the chance to teach on this topic, and I thought this audio was lost forever.

Concluding John’s Gospel

▶️23 The Upper Room Discourse: Jesus’ Final Teaching (John 13-17)

The Upper Room Discourse records Jesus’ final teaching to his disciples on the night of his arrest. Jesus explains 5 key themes as he prepare his disciples for what lies ahead.

▶️24 Why Believe? Themes from the Gospel of John’s Final Chapters

John 20:30-31 captures the themes of John’s Gospel. The final episode in this series explores John’s purpose and major themes, tying them to Passion Week and the book’s closing chapters.

What did you learn from the Gospel of John? Replay and tell me:

  • What surprised you most?
  • What familiar themes did you hear?
  • What’s your favorite takeaway?

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

If you’ve been blessed by this podcast, please share it with a friend — but more importantly, encourage them with something you learned.

Maybe share a quick note about something you’ve learned. Your personal touch could make all the difference in blessing someone else.
