The next podcast season will be . . . 2 Corinthians

I’m excited to announce that our next podcast season will be a study of 2 Corinthians, which I’ve titled “When Church Hurts.”

What happens when ministry gets messy—or when people in the church misunderstand, question, or even reject you? In 2 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul opens his heart to a struggling, divided church and shows us what faithful ministry looks like in the midst of conflict.

We’ll return to out usual verse-by-verse format to walk through Paul’s most personal letter, filled with truth, grace, and surprising encouragement for anyone walking through conflict or discouragement in the church. Join us and discover how God shows up—even when church hurts.

Wondering why the next study is not Ephesians? It’s still in the works. I need more time to study and prepare Ephesians well. Rather than delay the next season, I’m releasing 2 Corinthians first since it’s much closer to completion.

Stay tuned! Lord willing, the podcast will resume this summer.

Bonus Podcast: A Biblical Perspective on Money

Did you enjoy the bonus episode on money? Missed it? You can still listen. In this episode, my husband, David John Marotta, and I present a biblical perspective on money, arguing that it all belongs to God and that we are called to be stewards, not owners. It blends theological insights with practical advice to guide listeners in using money wisely for God’s purposes.

My upcoming book,Start Strong: A Beginner’s Guide to Understanding Christianity,is in the hands of a wonderful team of beta readers who are offering thoughtful and insightful feedback. Next up: revisions based on their feedback, professional editing and then publication! Here’s a sneak peak at the book website-in-progress. (The book cover on the website is an A.I. generated placeholder, not the final cover.)
