A reader asked…
“What if I don’t listen to podcasts?
How can I still benefit from your studies?” The answer depends on your situation.
If you’re new to podcasts and unsure how to begin:
I have a short an article to help you get started: How to get started listening to podcasts
If you prefer not to use a podcast app:
You can still follow along. I offer email notifications whenever a new episode is released. These messages include a direct link to listen online.
- To sign up, subscribe to my newsletter.
- Once you receive your first newsletter, scroll to the bottom and select “Update your profile.”
- From there, check the box: “I want to be notified whenever a new podcast drops.”
If you’d rather browse directly:
You can always bookmark the podcast page for a specific study. When you’re ready, visit the page and select the episode you’d like to hear.
If you don’t want to listen at all:
There are still several meaningful ways to engage with each study:
Read the Show Notes:
Every episode includes show notes with outlines, key points, and Scripture references. These are available via the podcast notification emails or by visiting the podcast page.
Use the Discussion Questions:
Many seasons include thoughtful discussion questions that work well for personal reflection or small group study. These are designed to be useful even if you haven’t listened to the audio.
Join a Group:
If you’re part of a Bible study group that’s following a series, you can participate using the show notes and discussion questions. You’re also welcome to supplement your study using the resources available in my library.
Whether or not you listen, I hope these resources help support your study of Scripture.
